Exams

The web application through which the Athenaeum manages the exam calendar, from booking to online reporting of results, is the ESSE3 platform. The procedure uses UniTO mail addresses, so we advise you to consult the Student Webmail on a regular basis.

It is also possible to view the complete list of the available exams by connecting to Appelli Noticeboard on the University portal and selecting The Department of Economics, Social Studies, Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the drop-down menu; if need be, choose one of the items present (Course of Study, Teaching Activity, Teacher or Exam Date) to refine your search.

The Economics Degree Course code to search for in the drop-down menu is 102722.

The list of exams will be updated regularly, based on availability received, on the ESSE3 system.

You can view all exams related to the different courses pertaining to the School of Management and Economics by consulting the complete list of rounds.

Exams booking must be made by going to the University portal and logging in with your credentials to the MyUniTO area.

From there, select Exams > Available Exams Sessions on the top horizontal menu to view the list and choose the desired round.

The system allows booking only if:

  • the educational activity is regularly entered in the career plan
  • you are in good standing with the payment of fees
  • teaching evaluation has been carried out on the Edumeter system.

In case you do not meet these conditions, you will not be able to book or take the exam.

It is possible to register (or unregister) for one or more rounds only during the open registration period.

Please note that:

  • dates and times of the rounds are subject to change. Please double-check close to the exam that the exam round date has not changed;
  • exam registrations open 30 days prior to the round date and close 7 days prior to the round date.

To find out the code of the disciplinary scientific sector (SSD) relating to each course, consult the study plans.

Students enrolled in four-year degree courses will not be able to use the ESSE3 procedure for enrollment and exam registration. Therefore they will have to:

  • find an agreement by email with the referent teacher regarding the date to sit the exam
  • record the exam on paper both in the booklet and in the register.

Enrolled students who have not completed exams within set time period or who have in their career plan subjects no longer provided, must consult the list of subjects no longer offered (shown below in alphabetical order) for information on exam modality and syllabus.
