Tutoring and Buddy
Tutoring encompasses student assistance activities aimed at making undergraduate studies more effective and productive, from trying to bridge the gap between secondary school and university in the early stages of their careers, to improving the quality of learning and advising on study plans, international mobility, and educational offerings before and after graduation.
Consult this page constantly as updates or changes may be posted as things continue to evolve.
The University of Turin has renewed its tutoring service, dedicated to first-year students.
Tutors are male and female students enrolled in their final year, who offer help to freshmen in their university studies by providing their experience and expertise: they are a reference throughout the academic year.
Their role is to accompany male and female students in the initial phase of their university journey, not only on administrative matters or fulfilment but also by providing useful advice based on their own university experience.
Tutors provide listening, information, and support on:
- teaching organization, class schedules, locations, labs, and study rooms;
- fees and university ISEE application;
- administrative deadlines;
- career plan compilation and course evaluation (Edumeter);
- use of the University's web platforms and channels to keep yourself informed;
- Erasmus and international mobility;
- scholarships, collaboration agreements, curricular internships;
- communication with faculty and administrative offices;
- opportunities for associationism, cultural and sports activities for male and female students.
